Astromaster 130EQ from Celestron - A Consumer Review

Our telescope reviewer Laura looks at the Astromaster 130EQ to see if it lives up to expectations and how it compares to other telescopes. The Celestron Astromaster 130EQ is a good all round telescope. It can be used for looking up at the stars at night or for terrestial viewing in the day. It is fairly lightweight and the aluminium frame helps keep the weight down. I think at this price point Celestron have done a good job in creating a telescope that will please the majority of users. It is sturdy and pans well at a steady rate. It is quite easy to control and the lens quality is good for a telescope of this price.
